Terrible. Came in and got bounced from place to place to get checked in. Lady at information finally helped after radiology and the registration at radiology sent me to the wrong places to register. Then was told that they didn’t have everything needed from my primary doc. I had a report but they wouldn’t even look at it because it wasn’t sent from my doctors office. Really just a bs appointment that wastes my time. Been waiting months for this appointment and will have to again because they didn’t check what they had (correct referral, images, etc) prior to my appointment. Don’t feel confident about the level of care I would receive here.
Billing nightmares! Had cataract surgery in both eyes, won't do both at once so you need to pay $800 TWICE up front! Steady payments aren't enough, after 6 months your handed to a collection agency.THEY chose an anistisiologogist who was NOT part of my insurance ppo. This is an ADDITIONAL $900. I should have been told he was not a paid provider or they should have chose one who was. Never again will I go to Trinity Quad Cities. Not recommended, use Genesis!
Just had a very bad experience with a nurse named Ashley in the emergency room. She was rude and condescending. Instead of explaining to me why I couldn't be treated for my back muscle strain, she chose to be confrontational and even went as far as to lie by saying I was asking strangers to help me out to my truck. Just an all around bad experience. I'll definitely go to moline from now on even if it is a further drive.
Patient room Facilities could use improvements, but the nursing staff was by and large excellent.
My grandmother was admitted into Unitypoint Rock Island for afib and agreed to sign a DNR during her stay. She also agreed to allow visiting nurses and begin PT & OT. When she was discharged, staff neglected to give her a copy of her DNR, which to me is unacceptable. They also neglected to give VNA the referral, despite giving my mom a copy of the orders. It's sad that I have to be the one to let my family know the proper protocals, because I work in healthcare, when a hospital should be doing it instead because it's their damn job. They need to get their act together.
