I will definitely be recommending this hospital to anyone but especially the elderly. In our home town they wanted to send my 95 year young mother in law home with comfort Care and everyone knows what that means. She was asked over and over again if she wanted to live and she said yes do everything you can but the only thing they wanted to do is basically kill her off we then went to TriStar Centennial for 2nd opinion and it's the place I've ever been to. They take life seriously even though she's 95 they treated her as if she was a normal person with a desire to live. Thank you tristar Centennial your tops in my book Drs/nurses/staff great in every way possible

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! My mother came here for hip replacement and went home 3 days later. We were only home for 4 hours when she developed chills and and fell. The ambulance took her to the Bowling Green medical center where they discovered her leg was very red and she had fever of 101. They treated her but tried to have her transported back to Centennial but the Dr. on call would not approve it and wanted her to drive down the next day to see them in their office. She was to week to walk from the infection. We had to drive to the Cenntinal ER and then they finally agreed to direct admit her that next morning after driving directly from OTHER ER. The first 8 hours in the ER she sat in a URINE SOAKED BED. I got no help in Er and it took 8 hours to see a doctor. We are currently in the ER IN CLINICAL DESION UNIT three days later with no windows, a overhead light that would not turn off at night, NO BATHROOM and unreliable food service, and probably not the best environment for someone recovering from an infection immediately following surgery. They say there are no beds here. It is apparent to me that this hospital cares more about making money and getting rid of patients than they do for caring for the ones they caused an infection in to begin with. They have to many surgeries to take care of returning patients properly. I will never ever recommend this hospital or use this hospital for my family again. I. Will also be reporting them to Medicare, Quality Improvement, and the Joint Commission. The only thing positive were that most of the nurses were very caring and helpful.
