feedback about Twin Cities Hospital
I have never been treated there, but my son has used their ER before. They were very friendly, helpful & thorough. I work for an MD who's office is next to the hospital. A lot of our patients have been treated there & I've heard more positive feedback than negative. When I call there to schedule things, they are always very helpful & nice.
I had hip replacement surgery here yesterday Jan.15, 2019 . Everything was professional and extremely welcoming from pre registration to leaving. Hospital is extremely clean. Met so many really kind, caring nurses, technicians and hospital staff. Visited many departments- lab. Radiology, out patient surgery center, pre-registration of surgery dept. It feels like a big family here and you are welcomed as such. The food was great, and I'm gluten free. Usually I dread what they scrounge up for me. Instead the Dietician found Gluten free rice flour to make a sauce for my pork tenderloin, with sweet potatoes and asparagus for dinner. Even traded out my ice cream for jello since I don't do milk. Dietician brought my dinner to me special to make sure it was right. All meals were better than any hospital food I've seen in the past. My doctor was great, anesthesiologist went above and beyond and physical therapist at hospital was a sweetheart as well. I would highly recommend this hospital for any upcoming elective surgery. You won't be disappointed.
I brought my son in with head pain and nausea. They ordered him a CT scan and took 2 hours to come and take him for the scan. Then took 2 more hours for them to read the scan. I asked what was taking so long and the nurse told me that they forgot about it...? Then another hour for them to get us checked out. The people in the rooms next to me were in out and had the same tests and more but got out in half the time. Now I know why I go to Fort Walton Hospital instead.
I don’t normally write reviews for anything but I feel compelled to do one. I don’t go to emergency rooms unless it is absolutely called for. However, on October 29th I was dealing with something that was extremely painful but wasn’t something the emergency room normally has to deal with. I went in the first time and was super happy that the nurses and doctor were extremely understanding and so very nice. I left about 40 mins later only to return 7 hours later because the pain was intolerable at that point. When coming back in the second time, I had the same nurse, different doctor, but was treated amazing. This doctor was doing the very best he could do for me, even though it wasn’t something life threatening. The point of this review is to let people know that yes, sometimes experiences are different every time, but I have to remind myself that some of these employees are tired, frustrated and more, especially if they have been working a super long shift. On Monday I was more than pleased with my visits and overly great full to both doctors and nurses who treated me with absolute understanding and care. You are the real mvps of the hospital.
My boyfriend came in with chest pains and I was refused to be brought back to comfort him and be with him .I was in the waiting room worried and crying and it took them forever to allow me back. They refused his patient right to allow someone back with him and I will never bring him back here he will go to Sacred Heart from here on
