Went to the ER and got checked in and back to a room quickly. The nurses and everyone on staff was very kind. The Dr. who saw me was fairly mediocre. THEY LEAVE YOU ALONE! although they got me checked in quickly, it has been over four hours since I arrived (weekday night, not busy at all). They do not tell you what is going to happen next or what times to expect. It took over two hours before the Dr. came into my room. Far from ideal service, but the nurses in staff were very friendly and helpful when asked.

So far staff has been great. For the most part very attentive! I believe it'll continue...I check out Monday.

MinHlovey .

SRMC IS THE BEST! I prefer you over any facility I have gone to here in New Mexico! My care there has been excellent on every level! I thank God for you!

THANK YOU! Took my wife in on Aug 6, 2019...from the Receptionist to the nurses /Doctors...You were Amazing.....Made my wife feel so secure. After having been Missionaries in Africa for 16 years. I guess at times we take our health care in the USA for granted...but in comparison to many other places....We are the Best, second to none. Took my wife to 11 doctors, 5 hospital visits, a specialist who did an Endoscopy to no avail, all in Africa and could not assess that my wife was having a gallbladder issue. With in the first 6 hours at UNMSRMC......lots of testing...people constantly coming in and updating us on what is happening, and what is happening next. I so appreciate you taking your job seriously. Thank You! Lord Bless! Robert & Jacque

I have been going to SRMC since 2013 and over the last year the Family Care Department is a mess . I constantly have to fight with staff in the Family Care department to submit my Tricare authorizations . It takes two to three weeks to get someone in that department to do a 2 minute action . This has been going on the last year of so. Then when I complain and I was told by the Patient Advocate that the Family Practice Director was going to call me , I get a call from a nurse . Long story short the nurse said it was done an when I checked the Tricare Website and called Tricare , they have still done nothing. Retired Military stay away from SRMC and go to Presbyterian or Lovelace if you are in Rio Rancho. Ridiculous and incompetent is the best words I can describe this part of SRMC . The downtown UNM is great , UNM SRMC is nothing like the downtown UNM hospitals and facilities . I found a Primary Care Manager at Presbyterian and will be moving my Healthcare over to them in a few weeks.
