My sister had surgery there yesterday? The nurses and doctors were outstanding. They took great care of her. I want to especially thank Jackie who was there when we arrived very early at the admissions area. She greeted us with the biggest smile and assisted us in every way with her smile. She is an outstanding employee and a tremendous asset to your organization. She deserves a raise. We would not hesitate using your hospital in the future. Hope Jackie is still there.

Was down there for chest pains. Did blood work and ekg, not a problem with that. The PA came in and said, we’d like to keep you overnight to have a stress test done the next day. Okay fine, then to be told, well the cardiologist might not be able to do it Thursday. Then to be told, well it could be Friday? Spend 3 days in the hospital for a stress test. Then, we’ll we can send you to Altoona. It would be and 8 to 10 hour wait time, until a bed was ready and an ambulance can get you. I said I’m going home, I’ll call my Pcm to have them set up the test. Called the Pcm, oh, you have to be seen first, THEN we’ll set it up? All my Pcm has to do is go into the computer, look at the notes, but I guess they have to get their money too. No wonder people are disgusted with healthcare.

I took my 2 year old son this past weekend because of fever, vomiting and stomach pain. The PA touched his belly and didn't run a single test and said it was stomach bug and sent us home. He made sure to tell us to go to his pediatrician the next day, he had strep. Also, my daughter was taken to this ER last year for a seizure and they tried to tell me she had a seizure because she was constipated, she has epilepsy.

Dr Horton was wonderful with my 5 month old when he had a sudden trip to the ER, him and all the nurses were very helpful and kind. He even called the next night to follow up and see how my baby was doing, very impressed!
