I went to this place because it's near by where I live and thought it will be quick.... finds out they only got 7 ER rooms and they cant keep up with incoming patients. Yes, 7 ER Rooms, what a joke. Waited for 3hours in the waiting room and still unable to see doctor. I am surprised they haven't got sued for unable to provide emergency medical care for everyone who steps in... Plus, Waiting Room was freezing like AC in full blast in winter time... my condition got worse and needed to lay down but still no room. Should have read the review before I came.

I left for good. Never coming to this place. Never again USMD.

I just spent three days in USMD after a surgery. The facility is awesome. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The cafeteria deserves an award, not one bad meal. The staff each shift were phenomenal. In three days I had a different nurse each shift and I only had the same tech twice and they were all absolutely wonderful. Also the respiratory and the house keeping staff as well. I have been in several hospitals but none even come close to USMD.

WARNING TO ALL IMPLANT MAMMOGRAM PATIENTS * I was urged to get a Mammogram by my physician but I have old implants from an augmentation. I informed the staff of the age of them and they assured me that it is only a slight risk of rupture. I suffered contracture of one implant and deflation of the other from the pressure. I was never told that I was at a greater risk from the age of the implants and that I could elect to have a sonogram. After they have caused me great discomfort, the Manager of the Imaging Department only said that my Insurance did not cover a Sonogram, in which I replied, you didn’t inform me of the risk and I would have paid for the Sonogram. New protocols need to be in place to protect any other woman from this senseless injury with better information.

My Doctor (Cliff Vestal) was great. But he needs to seriously consider hiring an undercover evaluation consultant to review his medical and customer care team. He prescribed a medication that required two blood test in order for my insurance to authorize payment. Also, because the medication was a controlled substance. My pharmacy required a phone call from their office for verification of the prescription. For the past two weeks I’ve been promised multiple times, that these two things would be taken care of. Which they were not. I was also promised by a lady named LaVonne that I would receive notification from their office when it done. I have not received not one response out of the 7 times that I have called inquiring about the status of the prescription. This is the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. I truly thought that I was dealing with a “professional” medical organization. But I suppose not. I only wish that I had read these reviews, prior to me wasting my time and energy, dealing with people, that seem to not have any respect their patients time or patronage.

We had to make a trip to the emergency room and we were seen fast. The doctor on duty that day was amazing and followed up with us after the surgery.
