Vanderbilt University Hospital

Due to an accident at home, my husband was sent by ambulance from Dalton Ga to Vanderbilt. He suffered 1st & 2nd degree burns over 19% of his body. Everyone of the burn unit staff members were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were there a total of 13 days and they went out of their way for us. We were given a room with two beds so I had my own bed, not a chair, to sleep on each night. They knew our situation, being so far from home, and made us feel right at home. The doctors who performed his surgery all came by to check on him several times afterward. The staff is just completely extraordinary in my opinion. And the food is just as good as the staff is helpful.

The Emergency department staff and all of the nurses were beyond exceptional during our experience with my sister. From the moment I stepped through those ER doors I felt like they had her best interest at heart and keeping her alive was at the top of their priority list. I cant be fun to express my gratitude and thanks to the many people we came in contact with that were so caring and compassionate towards her. I will be eternally grateful for them ❤❤❤

They were all okay but Allie in the ER was AWESOME! She went above and beyond to assure that I was as comfortable as possible. I have came across some nasty people in this profession but she is nothing like the horrible people I've dealt. It really made my heart smile while I was in the ER. I'm glad you guys hired her 5 for Allie!

I drove a friend to Vanderbilt University Hospital for consultation and after parking and needing directions to the proper clinic, I met J. Turner, assigned to direct traffic and pedestrian crossing, who was courteous, skilled and highly professional with her duties. A welcome presence when you're not familiar to the area and needing directions from a reliable source.

Kathy is the goat she's the best at doing iv's and drawing blood you go girl as for all of the nurses on the 3rd floor they took very good care of me checked in on me great hospital shout out to those hard working woman -Gilmore
