This hospital is horrible. My elderly mother chose to go there after I called 911 for her when she exhibited very abnormal behavior. She decided on St. Teresa because Wesley diagnosed her as having overdosed on sedatives after a surgery and weaned her off of them for her own good. She didn't like this because it temporarily caused her some pain so when I called 911 after she was acting very abnormally, she chose St. Teresa. I am a pharmacy tech who worked for a dozen years at a hospital so I know that Wesley knew what they were doing, but I couldn't choose her hospital because she was the patient. They left her in pain for multiple hours and misdiagnosed her as dehydrated. My spouse and I argued that she was not well and their horrible case worker told us that she had the right to refuse treatment. She died in our house the following morning where our children could have found her. She could have lived if she had been admitted. I would give negative stars if I could.

My complaint isn't regarding hospital care. My complaint is that if you have diabetes or low sodium needs, you are taken care of. With the number of people that have Celiac's is rising, the public cafe can't provide anything other than a bag of chips or a candy bar for a meal. If you have an allergy or a disease that requires you to watch your food intake... Don't expect to get any thing of dietary value at a hospital. Can't even eat off the salad bar because it might have cross contamination. We could do better I believe.

Lowest I can give is a 1 wish it was lower. They have a lot of people up front but no one ever seems to have time to help anyone. They do have time to play on their phones though. Also the lab has a extremely rude and snooty receptionist. I would be happy to elaborate if anyone wishes but it just another in a long list of P poor customer service where overpaid medical persons think they are above everyone else.
Needless to say will never get my labs or even a toe nail clipped at that joke of a facility.
People are only as good as the people they work for and it shows. I wouldn't take a cockroach to that hospital for anything medical. They treat people like their doing them a favor. I have seldom had problems at Wesley and never had them screw stuff up, hint hint.

This hospital has a number of wonderfully talented personnel. The staff is outa this world. Even the food is heavenly. The place is clean & decent. Friendly & professional staff. But unfortunately I can only give 1 star, if wasn't for that Mr. Field's, I'd easily give 5. Why is he still there? Seriously?

Well we are here now and haven't seen anyone smile. My brother needs help and I can already tell he's not going to get what he needs. We also asked about resources for possible home care referrals a were given a pamphlet formedication, counseling and drug and alchoal treatment programs, WTH? When you talk to the people at the desk they don't look at you and act put out.
