This hospital is a terrible experience when it comes to customer service. Some nurses were rude while others weren't, and gossiping going around. Other reviews that have rated this place badly have already stated the nature of this place.

This place might look nice and professional but it’s far from it. In a daily, they violate hipaa policy and tell the gossip and judge on patient private information. Billing is horrible and even send their own employees to collections. They have been and will continue to be a mess of a hospital and the remodel was a waste of money because the people in charge are the same. Employees are in and out of that place like a revolving door because it’s not a good place to work and they preach about community but at the end of the day they are a corporation and only care about money . I suggest take the drive to Cody and get quality care with confidence of privacy.

I’m finally ready to speak up about this ER! I came in with severe pain in my abdomen and I was very nauseous. I let them know I was 6 weeks pregnant and they gave me an ultrasound to see if it was a tubal. It was not a tubal and baby was healthy HOWEVER the lady who did my ultrasound told me she seen what the problem was. I also revived blood work that came back very high on my white blood cell count. The female doctor I had told me I had a uti, gave me a prescription and sent me home. I had returned to the ER in the next day due to the pain and knew something wasn’t right. My blood work was even worse than the day before and I was running a fever 105. I was then told my appendix was getting ready to burst and I had to have surgery that night however they couldn’t do it in worland and I was flown to Billings that night at 10pm to have surgery! (White cell blood count went from 15,000 to 21,000 over night!) Her negligence could have cost me my life and my unborn child’s. If you see her get a second opinion!

Washakie Medical Center has a great staff and most of all it is clean. I have been very impressed with the ER, Labor/Delivery and Physical Therapy. They are efficient, thorough and very professional. Did I mention that it is CLEAN!!!
