Wasn't a big fan of the hospital itself but their maternity ward: absolutely phenomenal. The nurses were absolutely wonderful and I always felt relaxed and safe while there. They helped me through both of my deliveries with my girls and were super supportive during those times. I absolutely loved their maternity ward.

Where to start? My wife went there several times with seizures. They said nothing was wrong. Her epilepsy was found somewhere else. A doctor who works there diagnosed her bleeding as PMS. He was a little off. She had the cancer taken out somewhere else. This "facility" had no problem charging for every little thing without getting it right. Hospital rating gets -5 stars. Nursing staff not bad, but doctors make ultimate decisions. Nursing staff 4 stars. Doctors in the same hole as the hospital.

Being new to the Carbondale area it was closer to go there than Scranton. I was in a great deal of pain from a fall. The ER staff was very nice today. Also was here for testing back in August. They were very nice.

Was sent here for what was believed to be a blood clot from my PCP, after blood work came back indicating a high possibility. Due to the fact that I am young and seemingly healthy (clearly not looking at my medical history), they nonchallantly wrote it off, degrading my PCP in the meantime. Next time I’ll risk the embolism or clot and drive out to Scranton or NY.

I went in for extreme pain in my back. The women at reception were a little stoic, but the nurse practitioner, Michelle Szymanski and the nurse (I feel bad I can’t remember her name) were so nice and helpful. I have horrible anxiety in any hospital, but after the interaction with them, I felt it go away. I appreciate them and the referral to a family doctor to follow up with.
