I would rather die that experience this ER again, I've been there twice. I contacted them both times regarding my issues, and both times, I have been ignored. i gave them the opportunity to contact me and make it right, and again, have been dismissed and ignored so now I will give a review.
The first time I was disregarded and given a prescription that I was allergic too. I asked the Doctor and even told him I had reactions to this medication before, and I wanted something else. He said "You will be fine, this is a 'cousin' of that medication". I was not fine.
The second time I went to the ER, I am assuming it was Dr. George Khalil because that is who I see on my discharge papers, was so outrageous I wanted to leave. He came in my room, asked me what was going on and I started to tell him “chest pains” and was trying to explain the number of other serious and frightful symptoms as well because it wasn't just chest pains. This ‘person’ touched my foot and was in the room for 10 seconds, and AS I WAS STILL TELLING HIM SYMPTOMS. he left the room without saying a word. He disregarded me 100% and I never saw him again that night, even when I requested to see him because I had questions and concerns. That is outrageous. I tried to explain the pressure in my throat and how hard it was to swallow. Nobody, not the Doctor, not the nurses, ever addressed that issue even though I kept bringing it up. I continually had a one sided conversation with everyone; I was talking to myself. Nobody would answer my questions at all.
Nobody checked on me for hours. One time a nurse came in when I needed a blanket. Then, at 7:25 a.m. or so (like 5 hours later), a totally different person came in and said I was ready to go. What? No answers? No Doctor to talk to and ask questions? I told her my pain was still the same (and my throat issue wasn’t even addressed), if not worse, and she said ‘The Doctor just says Atypical Chest Pain”. I asked if I could talk to him, but since he didn’t even stay to listen to my symptoms, why would he give me the time of day to take a minute and answer a few questions? This person told me if the pain gets bad again, to come back. What? Seriously? The pain was already bad and had not gotten better; it had not gone away? Why would I come back especially after being treated this way?
They are quick to send a $6000.00 bill (so far, could be more) for this pathetic, outrageous visit, but they wont respond to me about what happened.
The bad reviews are true, stay away from this place if it at all possible.
The wound care center was the best thing that happened to me in my struggle with healing a large cut on my right leg. Looking back on the experience I should have gone there weeks earlier! Although it took a few months the treatment was methodical and professional. Doctor E, all the nurses, and staff were first rate and dedicated. Thank you all!!!
Took 2 hours past my appointment time to get my back procedure done. Took 9 months and a dozen phone calls for them to get the billing correct through my insurance. The nursing staff was great so I gave them 2 stars.
I had a wound that wound not heal, my GP Dr. referred me to the Wound Care Center. Dr. Ejere and the staff of nurses, Mandy, Vonnie, Jacki, Marsha , Trish the Tech and the ladies in the front office were very professional and helpful. They quickly go me on the road to recovery. I would highly recommend to anyone need their services.
Just when I thought I would need surgery, Linsey at MC Rehabilitation got me back to my baseline in 4 short weeks with physical therapy. She is the most knowledgeable PT and knows exactly what you need. I’m glad to be back to normal!
