This hospital has a great team ,& very experienced staff. They're very concerned with the well being of their patients and are on time for most of everything . They've carried me to the bathroom , watched me scream , throw up , pee on myself & haven't judged me one time. I've been in only one other hospital with an amazing experience like this one & that was Ohio State University, where I gave birth to my daughter . This staff has offered to watch my 2 girls while I showered, have handed my girls toys , coloring books , colors , ice creams , lotions ... You name it . All while taking very well care of myself . I'm very great full for this hospital & the great caring people who have helped to make me , me again .
My husband has been in the hospital here since Monday. He has been very sick but most of that was complicated by the fact that we could get no one to listen to us. Along the line there have been a few doing their best to take care of him but for the most part this has been something from a horror story. The doctors have been all that was expected but the rest would have been fired long ago if they worked for me. If I listed all the errors that were made over the past few days there would be no space for others to leave reviews. By the way I have never in my 58 years left a review like this for anyplace. Totally unbelievable.
The staff was very friendly! However, my hubby was kept for 2 extra nights when they couldn't find the issue. The heart cath was great, yet they kept him overnight. He was without food for over 26 hours, even though he's diabetic. The best they could then offer was a TV dinner!!
This place has me livid. My grandmother went in to get checked on because she was having signs of a stroke. She made it to this place and was dizzy, and drowsy. It was apparent. So apparent in fact that a nurse had to help her fill out her paper work simply because she couldn’t even write anything down at this point. Fast forward a bit and they Let her DRIVE HERSELF to another emergency room! I am amazed that she even made it to the hospital. And am seriously angered by the staff that allowed my grandmother to drive under these conditions.
I am 19 weeks pregnant and had a scheduled ultrasound at the Josephine Raye Rogers Center. I have been anticipating this appointment for a few weeks. Amanda, the ultrasound technician, kept the screen turned so that I could barely see what was going on. Not only that, but she also didn't even take pictures as she went. Maybe I am wrong, but I thought pictures were pretty standard for a scheduled ultrasound. If you are pregnant and have the option to get your ultrasound done elsewhere, I suggest you do that. Pretty much anywhere else.
