Got referred by urgent care to come to this E.R. because there facility was not equipped with the procedure that needed to be done. Been waiting over 4hrs to be seen. For a big hospital the E.R. I feel is not fully staffed and the lobby is filthy. Feels like I went to east L.A. it's funny How they run you're insurance do the quick intake give you a bracelet with your name. And can't even give you anything for the excruciating pain ur in after asking on a scale of 1 to 10. I said 10

My Mom is currently admitted, and has no history in the area since we just moved. Most has been at Methodist, and though this info has been given on numerous occasions to staff, there has been no orders to get most recent records! MDs might find some useful information, especially if we are looking at a surgical plan in the near future. I generally have to be the one to initiate any calls for updates, which is fine, but have yet to meet any of the physicians that have made rounds, and may find communication more effective and direct even if a patient is coherent. I really don’t want to transfer unless necessary because she is no longer able to walk. Working with patients myself, I’m a bit perplexed, but giving the benefit of the doubt that they are running all tests needed since she is completely new to them. I just pray they look to gather any and all information, develop a good plan in a reasonable time frame and keep her comfortable in the meantime, and have effective communication amongst all staff there. This is a precious life, and hoping for great results!!! Nursing staff, for the most part, has been okay, though tonight I was questioned with some disregard at first, but face to face encounter helped a bit. Just want the absolute best outcome!

Friendly staff and friendly nurse. Props to nurse Alison. Security at the front checks you in and gives you a wrist band. FREE PARKING WITH VALIDATION. Came here for my grandma she had surgery. They made sure my grandma was comfortable and well hydrated. My grandpa stayed with her during the night so the nurse was VERY accommodating to bring a rollout bed for him to sleep next to her. My grandma didn't eat for a long time due to surgery so nurse helped bring a dinner menu for her (with diabetic jello dessert) which she said very VERY TASTY. As a restaurant reviewer, I am going to post a picture of their food :) I feel hospital food can be underrated but I feel that this hospital was very helpful and attentive to my grandma's needs. Thank you.

My one year old daughter went to the ER because she put some soap in her mouth. And I took her straight over to the hospital and instead of seeing her they made us wait about 3 to 4 hours, told us to go because she is fine. I don't care of she looked fine they still should have seen her. I also dislike this hospital because the doctors here have the nerve to call a patient a drug addict when they are not. Trust me if I could stay away from a hospital I would. This ER doesn't care about their patients. On top of that my daughter's visit (which she wasn't seen) was more than a grand. How in the hell is it more than a grand when they didn't do anything. Tired of this hospital.
