Wilcox Memorial Hospital

Broke my ankle while visiting Kauai. Got top notch care by a professional team. Care was great, facility including my room was nice and food was great as well.

It is super slow and they don’t get work done. Ended up waiting forever just for a shot. Not good need to work on workers being faster and getting things done. Also need to work better to find solutions to problems.

Our family stayed in Kauai over Thanksgiving and loved it. Unfortunately our 3 year old became very ill and was having respiratory problems. We visited the Wilcox ER and was seen by Dr. Ryan McMorries, he was very thorough and calming for my wife and I. He was able to diagnose and treat our daughter very quickly. Our nurses and respiratory specialist were all great. Our total visit was probably only 2 hours with most of that waiting to watch for how she responded to the treatment. Definitely recommend this ER.

It is so hard to get seen. I have a serious fast progressing disease and need to go to Oahu for special treatment/surgery. First I need to get a recommendation from a primary care doctor at Wilcox Lihue. The appointment that was made is three months away!! The appointment that was made is only to establish care with my new doctor since my old doctor left and I will both even receive treatment on that date. It seems like they need to make it possible for urgent appointments for people who are in dire need. I have always received poor service here. I am going to try to find a new doctor. Three months is asinine. Ridiculous, making people wait longer and suffer in great pain. Very dissatisfied with this company.
