PATTY LEIDHECKER

Care and concern lacked until I saw the Doctor. I had injured/cut the side of my face near my ear and it required 14 stitches. Somehow, I tore the side of my face open when I hit the nightstand falling out of bed. When I arrived, we had stopped the bleeding and I was asked to sit in the waiting room until 6:00 a.m. It was 4:00 a.m. at the time. 6:00 a.m. arrives and I finally get an ER room and lay down. My husband said, get out of that bed. There was blood all over it. Finally Doctor comes, puts in me in a clean room and took care of me. She did a great job and had lots of compassion. Don't remember her name.

This is the worst Hospital in the State of Pennsylvania. The Doctors don't know anything. They have gave me the wrong medical diagnosis in their ER Twice and gave my wife and children the wrong diagnosis during their visit. It seem like the doctors there get their Degree in Medicine from walmart (especially the ER Doctors). It sucks that it is the only hospital close to me, so when I have an emergency I have no choice but to go there.

If you have to go to the emergency room you probably better go someplace else The doctors are horrible the whole thing is bad and I know from experience many experiences not a place I would recommend

Another good UPMC experience. This time Andrea Bickford, DO of Family Medicine at Loyalsock. My appt was on 5/21/18. She immediately put me at ease. She was relatable and down to earth. She was confident, professional and competent. I told her it had been over 10 yrs since, I had been to a doctor. She immediately scheduled several blood tests, talked to me about a colonoscopy, uugggghhh! And talked about planning for a probable upcoming surgery. Long story short is I trust this doctor with my care.

The Department of Veterans Affairs referred to WRMC for specialized blood work. I simply need to reschedule my appointment for a later time. I have a referral number and give it to every department the operator directed my call. Every department I talk to claims, that I have the wrong department. After an half an hour of this back and forth, of trying to reschedule my appointment I gave up.
