On August 03, 2017, I had fallen and needed to be seen in the ER to make sure I hadn’t broken anything and was discharged after being told all was normal and I merely had a sprained foot! I did my follow up with my PCP and he ordered an MRI which showed multiple fractures in the fibula of the same foot and I was immediately put in a pressure boot and on crutches. Following that, on January 11, 2019, this year, I again had to go to Winn Parish Medical Center this time transported by ambulance following a fall! Dr. Julio Iglesias what is the attending physician who ordered x-rays of the foot, knee, and hip, and without so much as laying a hand on me to do an actual physical exam of the injury came into the exam room and while just standing at the door informed me that I had only bruised my leg and could go home and rest but to follow up with my primary doctor within three days, which I did here in Winnfield at the community clinic where new orders were given for x-rays (at which time we discovered no x-ray was ever taken of the foot on the 11th) of the foot which in this x-ray showed three broken bones, the three metatarsals in the center of the foot were broken and never noticed by the doctors or radiologist of WPMC ( perhaps that’s because the x-ray was not ordered appropriately) ! In conclusion, not only will I never Lay foot into the Winn Parish medical center emergency room again but I would never take my dogs there; I don’t care if I’m dying or bleeding to death I will demand to go to another ER or refuse Services!

I was here for abdominal bloating and pain. They found out what was wrong within an hour or so and admitted me. The ER & my regular doctor and nurses I had were really sweet. There was one doctor(on my floor) that was rude, but I don't remember his name. But overall I had a good stay other than the pain and bloating, which finally went away months later. ( With medicine, of course.) They kept the place really clean.

Worst service I have ever received with an emergency room visit. The staff was very rude and did not seem to care. I was having sever abdominal pain and they waited over an hour to give me something for pain. They only have me something after I complained in the hallway and requested pain medicine.

Crappy service, and my daughter was not even treated for anything, and there was an insurance provider, and the bill is still almost $900 .
