I cannot say enough about my care at Woodland Heights. It was the first time in my life to go to an ER, and my experience from the time i was there at 5 AM Thursday morning to the time I was released from the hospital on Friday afternoon, I could not have been treated better in any possible way. The nurses and Dr in ER were great, and the nurses and Dr in the hospital were great. I have to add the cleaning lady and the nice guy who served the meals. All were wonderful. Thank you, Woodland Heights!

I had a double knee replacement this past Monday. The entire staff at the hospital & Dr. Peter Ross & his team were PHENOMENAL. For years I lived with horrible pain from spurs & arthritis. To a point that even medications weren't helping. I feel a 1000% better & so grateful for results. Thank you Dr. Peter Ross & staff involved

Excellent service from the moment I entered the ER. Thorough work over, thus quick diagnosis determining my immediate need to be hospitalized. Once admitted and securing a room, the 3rd floor nursing staff were at the top of their game. Very attentive to my needs, and I would also add; the phlebotomist, who had to draw blood quite frequently, were also on top of their game, e g. , they knew how to make a needle stick so smoothly that it was nearly painless. Since I am a quadriplegic, I found the staff to be knowledgeable and accommodating to my special needs while in-patient at Woodland heights. This is top notch service and you have my vote as the best hospital in Lufkin, TX.

My daughter had a cyst that needed to be drained. The doctor injected her and immediately started cutting her. She was crying the entire time! Although the procedure was quick, he should have waited for the numbing to take effect. Then they billed us $5,000 for this procedure that was done right in the ER. While we waited for our insurance to deal with the hospital which they knocked down $3,500 because we had insurance, they sent this to collections. Now I get calls from the collection agency threatening our credit. We will pay but only what we are required to pay. Can you imagine if we didn’t and we would have $5,000 to pay for a man cutting my daughter open while feeling all if that! It takes 30 seconds to 2 minutes for that to take effect! We will never go back to this hospital.
