feedback about Wyckoff Heights Medical Center
As a pastor, I visited this hospital as I have visited many others to be an encouragement to someone that I know. I found Wyckoff to be a clean hospital with a calm environment and friendly medical staff. The neonatal unit in particular provided courteous care. I have given a 4-star rating rather than 5 only because I found it a little confusing to get around inside the hospital and because the 🏢 itself could use some basic remodeling to update it from an "older feel."
As a medic student, this is my favorite hospital out of five hospitals in which I have personally experienced the ER and EMS facilities. I can’t speak from a patient’s perspective. In reality, this place has become my second home. Great hospital. Thank you to the nurses, doctors and staff here. Even as a student, nobody belittles you or demeans your status. That’s a huge takeaway Wyckoff has given me when it will be my turn to teach students or staff. And there is definitely plenty of space for family to sit in regards to the other review. There is more place for any family to sit than they have for their own doctors. That’s how much they care about family.
I delivered my 3 kids in this hospital and I had a great experience. The doctors and nurses were very nice, professional and very caring. Also, the food is super good they go to your room and you choose what to eat for lunch! It’s a very clean hospital and very organized.
Don’t come here if you care about your life. My pulmonary doctor lost important paper work of mine. Staff is rude and my primary doctor was very dismissive of my symptoms. I found out weeks later it was something very serious.
I truly believe if I had not switched hospitals I would’ve died here at Wyckofff.
Not a bad hospital. Better than Woodhull.
