Epic Training Process
1. Pre-Implementation Training
Your core team flies to Verona months before go-live to get certified. They return and train everyone else — this "train-the-trainer" approach is how Epic scales education without sending 500 staff to Wisconsin.
2. End-User Training
Physicians, nurses, and front-desk staff each get training tailored to their workflows. Expect a mix of classroom sessions, eLearning modules, and hands-on time in Epic's Playground (a sandbox where mistakes do not affect real patients).
