Eyefinity Encompass public pricing: Essential starts at $340/month; Enhanced starts at $758/month; Enterprise pricing varies. The pricing page states these amounts apply to one location and one doctor for the first year of a one-year contract, exclude onboarding fees, and require EncompassPay; Essential includes EHR (iPad exam app, patient portal, exam protocols, ePrescribing), while Enhanced adds EncompassMessage, PatientNavigator, and Image Management. Encompass pricing FAQ says each doctor incurs a one-time onboarding fee and each account a one-time AMA royalty fee, but publishes no dollar amount for either; no free trial. OfficeMate/ExamWRITER: official EHR disclosure says implementation consists of a one-time license fee plus monthly support fees, but publishes no dollar amounts, billing unit, minimum, or cadence detail beyond monthly support. Active and currently served in the US: Eyefinity’s current official site describes Encompass as a cloud platform combining EHR/EMR and practice management, offers Request a Demo, current public Essential/Enhanced/Enterprise plans, and lists US Customer Care support for Eyefinity EHR and OfficeMate/ExamWRITER (Mon–Fri 6:00 am–5:00 pm Pacific). OfficeMate/ExamWRITER is still presented by Eyefinity as a supported first-generation server-based product, with a current Version 15 link and a documented migration path to Encompass/Eyefinity EHR. The official disclosure identifies ExamWRITER v15.3 as ONC-certified (certification date Feb. 18, 2021) and EHR powered by EMA in Encompass v7 (Dec. 19, 2022); certification dates are historical and do not by themselves prove product discontinuation. Eyefinity FAQ confirms it has been a VSP Vision subsidiary since 2000.

Qualifications

The directory label combines the vendor and product/alias. Eyefinity, Inc. is the actual vendor; OfficeMate and ExamWRITER are legacy product names, while the current clinical cloud product is EHR in Eyefinity Encompass (the site also uses Eyefinity EHR). OfficeMate/ExamWRITER is a real clinical EHR/Health IT Module, not merely a billing system, but it is server-based/legacy and Eyefinity promotes migration to Encompass. Do not treat Encompass starting prices as OfficeMate prices. All unquoted fees must remain Not publicly disclosed; request a quote rather than inferred.
