If I could give the ER one star I would. The staff who work the desk came across as if they were so inconvenienced by my husband having an emergency. Seriously, the "reception" we received added to the trauma of having to go into the ER in the first place. Other than a couple friendly doctors and a nurse who knew us, the staff were slow, condescending and unconcerned. Gratefully, once my husband was admitted overnight, the vast majority of the doctors and nurses on the floor were gentle and friendly. Also, when we've needed bloodwork, xrays, or physical therapy, I love going to this place because they are fast and friendly. That's why I give the hospital three stars. I am grateful to have a hospital that offers so many services, but I would really think twice again before taking a family member to the ER here.

Better off going to peublo springs or Denver. The junkies in this community ruined it for everyone that deals with real pain and are honest good hard working people.

Absolutely awful emergency room. Ended up leaving and going to Prowers after they lied to my husband and said my 4 months old o2 was above 90 for the last 30 minutes. When I asked them how the could possibly know that they insisted the were watching the monitors. It wasn't until I reminded them that the pulsoximeter had fallen off over 20 minutes when I first asked them to put it back on, that they became completely rude and said that wasn't their problem. Side note: my premie baby is RSV+ and his condition can change very suddenly.

My husband had to stay in the ER overnight due to a car accident he was involved in. While I was waiting his his CT scan and x-rays to be finished, I was standing next to the nurses station where I could openly hear the nurses and staff gossiping about my husband’s accident. The least they could’ve done is wait to gossip until the client has left the facility, especially since we didn’t know how severe the injuries were at that point. Very unprofessional.

Felt like a burden to staff, i walked into the ER no one asked anything just looked at me like i was there to exchange some pants, meanwhile my moms in extreme pain, i understand and appriciate professional atmosphere and respect the need for billing but its like there is no compassion for health care only a good career and statistics and $$$$$$$$$$ but no basis or moral for health cares primary use to provide essential health care to save a life! its More of a training center for the college students and rumor mill.
