Aurora Medical Ctr Oshkosh

I went to be with my friend who was at the hospital with her best friend who was having surgery that day. My friend who was waiting in lobby, was visibly anxious and overall uneasy. Soon after the procedure was over with, the surgeon (I assume) came out by us and gave you an update right away. I was very impressed with her professionalism, including her smile and how the way she spoke just put you at ease even more. I appreciated too that she made sure to ask if we had any questions. Even just sitting in the lobby, as I saw staff working on their tasks while also helping other patients/family and friends of patients. The staff gave off a very positive tone.

Broke my hip while away from home and had wonderful care through surgery and post OP. They arranged a rehab facility for me to go to until I can travel safely back home again. The doctor, nurses, and case workers are so kind.

Just dont like the fact that I waited over an hour to try to be seen and I still haven't been seen. When you schedule an appointment, they should be somewhat prompt. Not happy especially when you have your children with you!

Had my gallbladder taken out here today. From what I've experienced from other hospitals in south carolina, and other parts of the south. I was genuinely surprised about the level of courtesy. It was like I had a serious problem and when I told them about it, they actually believed me and took steps to make me feel better. I wrote this review because I am seriously used to nobody doing anything until the labs come back. at other places and in the meantime receiving underhanded comments. (which takes hours) .

Hd a 1340 appointment with Dr. Mccausland to check the rash under my left arm and on my chest. He prescribed a topical steroid cream for it and he said me to put it on the rash 2X per day. He said he would see me in a week or so and we'd see what the next step is for it would be.
