My mom had to have surgery and even though it was a success I have to talk about the desk people in the lobby. One of them kept thinking I was someone named Lola then thought my mom was my name then thought I was going into surgery even though I was walking in to visit my mom in pre-op. I don’t know how you can get my mom and I mixed up I’m platinum blonde she’s a brunette. It’s like the people couldn’t read the paper work in there hands. Then after my mom was done with her surgery and the screen read “ready to go home” I waited worried to death for my mom because I hadn’t been called back yet to visit her. I went to the desk and asked if she needed her clothes because I had them and they thought I was asking what her bloody number was. I had to repeat myself and ask when I could go see her they said 15 minutes. It’s been 35 minutes I had to have my brother sneak in with a group of strangers to see my already awake mom who was wondering where we were. I’m livid in the lobby as we speak. Okay doctors just don’t expect visits from loved ones after, the desk people can’t handle it.

I have been to this hospital on different occasions and I thank God there are people willing to work so hard to be nurses or doctors and try to do the best they can so me and other people can have a better life. Thank you Baptist!!!!!!

We went to another area hospital about 40 minutes from corbin, we was told blood work came back out of the ranges of what they should be. They said they could do nothing for her. We decided to try Baptist health in Corbin. We was very impressed ,they treated our special needs person very nice. They called security to help with a combative person we took there. They had 2 in room until patient calmed dow. GREAT JOB SECURITY. The nurses. doctors , Cna's was awesome, they cared and very patient. I think we have a new hospital for our family. We was at the hospital on 5/7/19 at about 10 am

My sister is a stroke patient and began having symptoms. We went to Baptist Regional as it was the closest hospital. She was rushed in an given a CT scan within 2 minutes. Within 5 minutes she was in a room and the dr had read the CT and came in with the results. They contacted UT and took her there via medevac. Everyone in the ER there was absolutely amazing in caring for my sister including the medevac team. I will be eternally grateful to the ER staff and will not hesitate to take anyone there in the future.
