I was born here 12 years ago at 5/5/7 11:58 PM and cared for as I was born 3 and a half weeks early. The nurses took great care of my mother and I.

Worst hospital ever! Staff is unprofessional and not trained properly. I've been waiting for a referral for 3 weeks n I keep calling them with no answer or call back. I'm 5 months pregnant and have only seen the doctor twice. If I wasn't been forced to go here I would never step foot in there again. I hate this place with a passion. They only treat uniformed men and women with respect. Ridiculous!

I just had a baby here. I had a very easy pregnancy. So, all the checkups were quick. My delivery was difficult though. I have a stubborn body that needed to be induced. The labor and delivery staff did everything they could think of to progress me into labor. Finally it worked. Sadly, my epidural did not take fully in my uterus. They did their best and helped me manage the pain. We were discharged in a timely manner and with everything we needed.

My brother Anthony Adam Lara was born almost 6 years ago when I was five on December 18, 2012. It was one of the greatest days of my life. I thank all of the doctors there. I remember eating at the food court with my grandparents while my parents were doing things with him before he came out.

My 4 year old son woke up at 1 in the morning in excruciating throat pain he cried wanting to go to the doctor and because of a prior throat surgery I immediately called the ambulance thinking it was more than just a common sore throat when they got to my house 30 minutes later they didn’t ask me if I wanted to go to Bassett or Fairbanks memorial hospital they just assumed because I lived on post I had tricare, during the ambulance ride everything was basic routine, once me and my son got to the hospital we were seen promptly in the emergency room the nurse who I assumed was nice at the time she asked if he has had any major surgeries and I mentioned the surgery he had just a few months ago she checked my son throat she mentioned that he may have strep gave him a pedialyte popsicle before leaving out to check us in, she came back and ask me why I didn’t have a deer’s I told her I wasn’t a dependent but I did live on base she literally stopped all care for my baby boy ran into the other room with her peers screaming and shouting “THEIR NOT AUTHORIZED TO BE HERE”!!!!!!! She kept screaming it out at this point I was so embarrassed and I felt horrible that somebody that seemed so caring could turn into this belligerent and bitter monster, she came back into the room and looked as if she wanted to snatch the popsicle she gave my son away she became mean towards my son and didn’t even want to look at him never did she apologize for the ambulance ignorance and mistake of not asking before just dropping us off at the wrong emergency room we were pretty much kicked out of the hospital at 2 in the morning my mom is military and I’m apart of her family care plan to look after my younger sister and brothers in case of an emergency and this is how me and her grandson were treated at the community hospital. I wish I would’ve taken her name horrible nurse and no care for my son.
