Had to have my partner rush me to the ER at 4 in the morning with unbearable burning shoulder and neck pain radiating down my arm, numbing my fingers, and leaving my arm cool to the touch. The doctor barely spoke to me, took an x-ray of my shoulder, gave me a gram of tylenol, and sent me on my way saying it was probably just a minor pinched nerve. Come to find out with no help from this place, I herniated my C7 disc and as of typing this am still in a lot of pain with severe limits to my daily activities and range of motion.

Thank God I didn't rely on this place for a life or death situation. Please do yourself a favor and stay as far away as possible. Go to Shore Medical or the closest Urgent Care or even your primary care provider before you set a foot near here. The only saving grace is the nursing staff, but honestly they deserve to work at a more competent hospital.

I only rated this hospital with 1 star is because I had to to be able to write this review. But really this place is the worst place. My daughter was treated right there in the waiting area of the emergency room never got to get a bed., never got to see a physician, & was given meds in the waiting area in front of other people. They stated there were no beds available which was a lie because four people came after us and the went right in to a bed. Of course they were white, not that color matter but I felt it did that day. The nurses were rude and had no class.in my book this hospital sucks. I would travel to shore. Before I go back there.

Worst hospital on the east coast! If I could rate this hospital 0 star I would just to show how disappointed I was. No matter your age, color, race or gender, Everyone is assumed to be drug addicts and doctors refuse to treat patients with the proper care needed. Every staff name has an attitude, the beds are dirty and rooms are not cleaned properly. If you love your family members please stay far away from this hospital!!!!

Not a horrible experience but not great either. I had same day surgey today. The prep was ridiculous. I had an intern try to give me a needle in my hand who didn't know what he was doing. I understand he has to learn somewhere but it hurt pretty bad and now my hand is black and blue. The nurse who was watching had to stick my other hand and she was able to do it with no problem. The leads (I think that is how you spell it) were put on in the wrong locations. When I went to the operating room, the nurses were mad becuase they had to move every one of them because they were placed wrong. As i was wheeled thorugh the hallways, I heard one of the nurses yelling at a technician. We really need a better hospital for our residents and visitors. Thankfully, I had no other issues and was able to leave there pretty quickly as it was a minor procedure.

Had a compilation from a surgery I had at UPenn a few days after I was released. The amount of pain I was in there was no way I could of made the ride back to UPenn. The ER was able to get me somewhat stabilized the first night. My wife along with Cape's surgeons talked with the surgeon from UPenn and kept me for 5 days. The entire staff was great. Infact I rate my 5 day stay 100% better then my 4 day stay at UPenn. The entire staff treat you like a person and not a number.
