Great staff in the ER! Very attentive and no wait. Managed pain in a very timely fashion. Always feel taken care of safe at essentia!
With the exception of a few nurses, and cleaning staff, the place is a nightmare. The nursing staff had disagreements in front of me to the point where the RN was in tears from the comments that came from the LPN. A few of the nurses on duty at the time of my medications, brought to me, Tylenol. I have allergies to Tylenol. But this continued on several occasions through out my 4 day stay. They never once showed me the labeling of the medication they were giving me. They would just tell me what it was. The LPN that had the RN in tears, continued to harass me in such a way that I actually had an anxiety attack to the point where I told the social worker I did not want her in my room ever again. At the end of her last shift of the weekend, she came into my room and stated that she hopes she doesn't see me in there again when she returns to work in a couple of days. She definitely should not be in the nursing profession. There are many other incidents that I choose not to express in this review. But I will say, that I was basically forced under duress, with my anxiety and PTSD acting up from many different situations, to give an evaluation the day before I was to go home. The only positive thing about that hospital is that it is kept extremely clean and the medical staff does clean their hands before touching anything in your room. And the food and the kitchen staff were awesome. And for disclosure Reasons I'm speaking about my stay which was a little over a year ago in April. So things may have changed since then, but I do not know.
Bobby, the email address you supplied is INVALID, tried 3 times. My response to you is:
Do you really want to know more info??
If so, this is what I tried sending to your email address you supplied.
In regards to contacting you with further information about my Essentia stay in April of 2018; I will do so at a later date.
The cancer had returned this year and I just finished a 6 wk radiation treatment and am not in any mood at this time to discuss my stay at your facility.
Thank you for your understanding. And I'll get in touch with you soon.

I feel more relaxed an no more stress or anxiety! They helped so much ! I feel very comfortable and give them a 5+ rating if I could all labs and tests are done on a very fast timely manner, and never a long wait! Thank you Essentia!
The overall care was good. But please make sure you know the company that they use to transport your family and friends. Read on: Don't let hospitals use this company to transport your family and friends. They don't care about the people they transport. Maxime doesn't use proper restraints to secure their clients. Maxime uses bungee cords to secure gurneys. The driver knew it wasn't the proper equipment and still continued to use the bungee straps. My mom was tipped of the gurney. Left to lay on the floor for 20 miles face down. My mom was yelling for help. They driver and the other person asseting that day didn't have the passion to help her. The assistant was the owners son. They called 911 for help, but canceled them. They told the dispatcher that all was good. When really they decided to leave my mom on the floor face down. So, make sure this doesn't happen to your family and friends. The hospitals use these company's to transport patients. That's how my mom got this company for transportation. We trusted the hospital to find a company that would take care of our needs. We were let down.
Very disappointed with my appointment today in the urology department. Didn't even see a urologist, was seen by two nurses. The first one was condescending and looked at me like I had no idea what I was doing. Like this wasn't my choice to get a vasectomy. I'm 27, been working full time since before I was 13 and been paying for myself for over a decade. I know how to take care of myself, I know who I am. I know what it'll take to rase a kid and know I don't want one. I felt like this is something they could have told me a month and a half ago when I scheduled the consultation because when I came in today I wasn't told why by a practicing MD anyway. Frustrated how the staff handled the situation and feel like a couple of middle-aged nurses, who don't know me, made a life decision for me....
