I arrived at the emergency room at 9:45. I was checked in as soon as I arrived. There was only one other person in the waiting room waiting to be taken back. I was back into a room waiting for the doctor at 10:20, the Dr didn't arrive to the room until 11:50. Im not sure what it took so long because there didn't seem to be very many patients there. The room I was put into was clean but it was very cold. all the staff were very nice and helpful. If the wait wouldn't had been so long I would've given 4 stars.
Ok today 11-17-2018 my daughter cut the tip of finger almost off in a accident in bardstown since she was close we chose to take her to Kentucky one health wow was I extremely dissapointed with the treatment we received first of all my daughter was in a lot.of pain the nurse first int he room was extremely hateful made rude comments and made my daughter feel like she wasnt wanted there ,2 when the Dr on duty came to the room to help her he also was rude told her quit whining it wasnt bad and that she was just acting out my daughter is 16 she has extreme anxiety and she takes med for that when I (HER DAD) asked for directions to where the room she was in the blonde nurse at desk proceeds to say hatefully what do u want ! Really just needed directions to see my daughter ,3rd when I respectfully left the room so my wife and daughters bf could stay with her I asked where the exit door was the EMT flirting with the nurse asked me WHAT U WANT ! I simply asked where the exit door was .this is not what I expected from a ky 1 health hospital with high ratings I will make sure I DO NOT come here again and will spread the word of the insulting experience and treatment I received from your employees today .
In June of 2016 my stepfather went into this hospital because of difficulty breathing. He had been in there several times that year. Andy begged his doctor not to send him home again because he was afraid that he would die this time and this doctor told him that he wouldn't send him home. But then a different doctor sent Andy home when the first one had a day off. Andy also begged this guy but he sent him home anyhow and told him that he would be fine. Never mind that he had been in and out over the past few months for the unresolved issues with breathing and never mind that he was over 85 years old. The last time I spoke to Andy was Father's Day 2016. He was dead five days later. He died in their hospital! He had been re-admitted on Monday struggling to breathe and passed away on Friday from sepsis. One can only imagine how not treating a lung infection affects one's breathing. They are apathetic and lazy. Had he gone to E-Town he could have seen a real doctor and he would probably be alive today.
Clean and friendly. Modern yet homely. Great sunrises over a beautiful landscape of lush trees overflowing with deer delivered through your window, healing your mind, body, and soul
They were extremely caring, compassionate, and friendly. My wife went in with stomach pains and they brought us in quickly, we met with the doctor immediately, and the nurses were fantastic. They were so helpful in alleviating her nervousness and pain. I highly recommend someone to come here if they need help urgently. Amazing crew! They were some of the most friendly staff I have met in a hospital.
