wish I could put no stars. wish I could close this place down forever! This place almost killed my mom, botched her surgery and she went septic. My parents never sued, but suspiciously Georgetown hospital never billed them for the botched surgery. Don't take anyone here unless its for gastric bypass, its the only thing they know how to do. Gtown hospital will kill you, no kidding.

Giving a one star is pushing it. My grandmother treatment and care was horrible. Waiting over an hour for someone to come take her to the bathroom is absolutely ridiculous. This happen almost everytime she called for help. I heard a nurse tell another patient to pee in their brief, because they didn't have time to get them up. My grandmother has never been so upset about a hospital stay anywhere else before.
Night shift was great to her.

Worst hospital ever would not send my animals there.Wife fell and hit her head and had breathing problems. Dr West gave her a shot of phenagren and then later had a smart remark. Treated us like drug addicts. Then Dr West lied and said he was giving my wife pain meds but gave her saline instead or at least I hope it was. We're a Christian family looking for fair and equal care. You don't get it at Georgetown hospital. Update:Took my daughter here cause she was running a 103.9 temp. The doctor had checked her for flu and strep. It came back negative doctor said. Two days later I found out the test results came back positive. My daughter could have died or gotten some elderly family members sick. Don't take your child here cause you will never no if your child's really sick. They hurried us out the the door we wasn't there a hr.

I've always recommended Georgetown hospital for kids. I had never had a bad experience until Saturday when I took my 3yr old daughter in for extream stomach pains that woke her From her sleep and the Dr came in basically said because she is a kid she won't treat her. She said she knows nothing about pediatric cases and doesn't care to know about them. Then got crazy mad when I said I would take her somewhere else the E.R. was empty so it wasn't like she was doing anything. So she is reported People like that don't belong in hospitals and I won't refer anyone to go back and I feel sorry for anyone who has to meet her as a Dr.

For every good experience we’ve had here we’ve had one that was equally terrible. I would like to start out by saying that if we could see dr Paul Finley everytime we’d always come here because he is amazing and attentive and took such good care of my little one when I brought him in. Last night I took my son who has Down syndrome and is therefor more at risk for rsv complications in to be seen because he wasn’t breathing normally and was coughing so hard he would puke they tested him for rsv and it was positive. The first doctor that came in was short and rude and While the next wasn’t much better he at least wasn’t rude . The next doctor came in in such a crazy rush like he was dying to leave the room the whole time he then said “well since his oxygen levels look good I’m not worried” I informed him that they never took his oxygen levels and he brushed it off like he hadn’t just lied about seeing his oxygen levels. He then sent the nurse in to discharge us without telling her to take his levels. The nurse came in to get me to sign the papers and I asked her if we could check she begrudgingly took them and when they looked good she said “see all of that for nothing” in a very snotty way. Also, every doctor or nurse that saw us called my son a “downs baby” ......you’re medical professionals and should know better. He has a name. He is not his diagnosis. Do you call children with cancer “cancer babies”? So. Unless we are sure we can see doctor Finley we will not be coming back to this hospital.
