Our daughter was recently discharged after a 10-day stay at St John’s. She received exceptional care from staff on the 3rd floor as well as in other departments, including the emergency room. I want to give a shout out to Megan, an RN who cared for our daughter throughout her stay. Megan is the epitome of a great nurse. She is competent, caring and supportive. I hope Megan sees this review, so she knows how much we appreciated the care received.

Worst. Hospital. Ever. Sat in the lobby over an hour until they actually got my girlfriends info. Sat in the lobby after that for nearly 3 more hours. When anyone asked how long to be seen, the response was "i don't know". So when we finally decided to leave, we go up to the front desk to let them know, and nobody but security is there. He goes to find the front desk clerk and all i see is 4 or 5 nurses and doctors standing around in the hallway having conversations. So what were we waiting on, them to finish their gossip? Ridiculous. I didn't get a sense they even cared, just their for a paycheck. Never again.

I went to saint John's suspecting I had a stroke. The person who brought me to the hospital they assumed was my husband. He happened to take video while I was in the ER. I was coherent and asking answering questions just fine. I explicitly expressed that I did not want to go to St Joseph. They said we're not going to make you go anywhere you don't want to. They then proceeded to administer medication supposedly to lower my blood pressure and prevent seizures. They totally knocked me out. I was not coherent after that point and they proceeded to send me the transport and I came to sometime later in St Joseph. they sent my purse and personal belongings with the person who brought me to the hospital. No wonder I didn't remember the ambulance ride or arriving at a different hospital and thought I was still at St John's when I came to. This is the second time I've gone to the ER at St John's and have ended up in St Joseph which is a nightmare. If you're not a full-service hospital then don't say your hospital please!

They take good care of my mother more than region hospital. When we walk in they already got her a room and get her check up already. Region we have to wait for 5 hour just for a room and get no check up the Dr just told us come home. St. John check my mom and say that she have a cracked bone. Support St. John hospital they save my mother life.

I don't know where the problems were occurring with some of the other folks doing reviews here. I just had a hysterectomy at St John's and these folks were FABULOUS!!!! The surgical team, the nursing team, and everyone there were so kind and so attentive. I would never hesitate to have any further procedures here. They took such good care of me and my hubby who spent the night there with me. Saying thank you falls so short.
