Surgical staff was incredible here. Went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. I would recommend for any surgical procedures.
I went to have my girl there last month and every nurses and doctors are really nice but except the nurse name Chi, She is a Black or African woman. She is really mean because she bath my baby a really hot water that I can not even touch it. For those who going to have baby there, I recomment for not to have this Black Chi nurse!!!!
We just had a very bad experience here. My daughter delivered her baby here and is a T1D. For nearly two days, they withheld insulin from her after she had her baby. Our concerns were met with deaf ears. A call to the night head nurse after we contacted our daughter's endocrinologist was similarly disregarded. Finally on day four, a hospital resident stopped in her room and acknowledged their mistake. As our endocrinologist from Allina stated, their actions could have had dire consequences to our daughter. The hospital resident doctor said "someone here definitely dropped the ball" and apologized profusely. We will be considering our options at this point. Having said that, I will never go to this hospital again.
This hospital has a practice of not admitting seniors who have Medicare. They will put you in a room and take care of you for many days and nights but when it comes to billing Medicare they will say you were never admitted but you were on OBSERVATION STATUS. This is a scam so your bill is not covered by Medicare. You will get stuck with the entire bill. My mom even asked the ER doctor if my dad was being admitted and they said yes. In the end - the doctors changed it all to observation so the bill is all to my parents. I have left several messages but not 1 call back.
This practice is so wrong! I don’t even know how they can live with their conscience putting our elderly into financial debt when they are already stretched with their limited incomes. Someone needs to expose this practice.
I would say some of the Dr. here should get some retraining especially when it comes to respect. All Dr should know that people came from different backgrounds and they all should receive the same respect that you, dr treats your self. If you don't want to take care of sick people just leave your job. Thanks
