I almost never ever leave reviews. But seriously this place was way above and beyond my expectations for my girlfriends shoulder surgery. It started with the call the previous day from the anesthesiologist, then the follow up for directions before surgery the next day. 100% professional, but reassuring. They acted like humans and not how I've seen some medical professionals act about surgery. Joe at the front desk started our morning with simple medical release stuff. My girlfriend was visibly nervous and joe stopped what he was doing and talked with her. Regardless of the 6 patients that came in while we were with him. He didnt rush, and still checked them in efficiently without skipping a beat. You guys couldn't of picked a better individual to run your front end process. The nursing staff had the hospitality you'd expect in a 5 star hotel. Asking folks if they wanted coffee, or snacks. Not to mention referring to so many people by name off of memory. The real hero of the day was Dr. Gaskill! We first met with him probably 9 months ago, first impressions were typical. You could tell he is well established due to how quick he was with his visits. But he never ever left us uninformed on anything. I still was unsure of how he was until after her surgery. Dr. Gaskill sat down with me and broke it down so I'd understand what happened, and recovery instructions. Speed and efficiency should be his slogan. I was told it would be roughly an hour and a half. 55 minutes later I was told she was done, never one step of the way did I feel worried or out of the loop. Manhattan is lucky to have Dr. Gaskill, and the Manhattan surgical center!
