I would give them a half if I could but It won't let me! I have went there a few time in the past 2 months and both time was highly dissatisfied with them! First, I was 36 weeks pregnant and my water had already broke in the car on the way there. My husband ran in to tell them i was in labor and they treated him like he didn't have any idea what he was talking about so he came back out to the car with a wheel chair to get me and when I came in to tell them i was about to have my baby the lady was more worried about insurance information than the baby that was about to be born. I looked at her and said a few choice words pushed and there my beautiful baby girl was I had to grab her before she hit the floor and the lady stood there just looking at me in shock that I was telling her the truth. After they finally got me upstairs the ER lady came up to the room to apologize. One of the nurses also told my husband that they are taking their time getting blood for me that I was gonna bleed out and it's not our fault! That's exactly what you want to hear after seeing your wife give birth to your daughter in the waiting room the emergency room, right? Well after all that was done my baby's lungs were not fully developed so off to Cincinnati Children's Hospital they sent us!
The 2nd time I had to go there our baby was having difficulty breathing. I told them she already born premature and had issues with her lungs. They took us back and the nurse practitioner came in and was the only one that seemed to have any kind of empathy for her. The Dr just came in told me were gonna do a bunch if test but were most likely gonna send her to children's hospital. Uhh ok... so they put an IV In her and gave her a catheter! An 8 week old! The nurse before she did it said if I were you I would have just taken her to children's cuz they are gonna have to redo everything that were doing to her. I said so why don't you just not di all that and just send her? Well we have to have it on file that we did do all these test. Oh and if you have kids you would know that they have plastic diapers they can put on them to collect their urine sample samples! There was no need for a catheter on my 8 week old baby! Children's hospital said both times Meadowview transported us down there that the IV they put in her was shotty work and they had to redo it both times!
Needless to say from now on I am just going to go straight to Cincinnati children's hospital and cut out the middle man! Apparently they don't have the equipment to take care of children anyways. NOT MY WORDS that came straight from the dr that sent us the first time!

Spent 2 hours at the ER for accute abdominal pain, only got my blood pressure taken and sent back out to wait. Not even as mad about my experience as I am the man who spent over 4 hours in the waiting room, with symbtoms of a massive infection who was clearly about to fall out on the floor, he just decided to go home saying “I would rather die at home than here.” so I decided to go home too.
This is is only the recent of MANY horrible experiences I have had at the ER.

My brother in law went there 3 times in one day because he was having a stroke they sent him home each time. A friend finally drove him to Cincinnati and they were surprised he was still alive he ended up with blood on his brain. His brother went to here last week and was having a stroke and couldn't walk they sent him home with pain pills. He was driven to Cincinnati and was told he had a stroke. It use to be a good hospital but a hospital is only as good as the doctors that work there.

My little brother was sent home with a severe MRSA infection, sent home!

The doctors were rude and the lady literally said she would send his prescription in when she had time.

My brother is now in Children's Hospital on a ventilator.

Crazy staff, sick people, with no morals, no decency, and no respect for their line of work.

Hands down the single worst hospital within an 80 mile radius.

Eric Lohman is the most incompetent Dr. Around. I have mitral valve prolapse that I had yearly echos for. Each year I never saw the measurements. When your heart start to enlarge they reccomend surgery. Well my heart has enlarged I am having afib episodes. That could have been prevented had this idiot done his job. If he hadn't pissed me off I would have never known what my charts said and how badly they were off. The only thing I blame the hospital for is hiring this idiot as a dr.
