feedback about Medina Hospital
I entered the reception area of the ER with a very low oxygen rate and very emotional. I was taken in and administered oxygen....had blood drawn.. chest X-ray..ct scan. While this was going on the receptionist came in and asked me if I wanted to pay my $90.00 copay!!?? Really..they couldn’t just bill me ....which they will have to do because I didn’t pay it. I was admitted with pneumonia and the Dr. and staff were great!
The nurse were taking about my mother at the nurses station. Saying she was “ a stubborn old lady “ and doesn’t want to take what’s good for her.” Which in my opinion is very rude of her to say because they have treated my 70 year old mother like she was crazy because of how old she is but she hasn’t been diagnosed with any mental deterioration at all she is fully aware but in severe pain and her health has further declined somce being in the hospital she is leaving looking beaten and bruised all over her back and arms. They didn’t listen to us once and she was made to feel insane and insignificant. She lives off of social security if she could afford to get the medication she would but this shows how the government and society has treated the elderly and many humans today it’s horrible.
husband came to emergency room with a kidney stone. Had to sit in waiting room instead of getting meds immediately. Most hospitals take the patient in immediately. Bad.
takes 10 mins to route a call to a certain department. Then its another 30 mins to talk to someone in that department!!. Cleveland Clinic's customer service is horrible!!
Unfortunately have came to this ER for various reasons over the years,But treat it as a last cause. Horribly rude staff. Slow service and not ever the best treatment. Me and my wife have both had horrible experiences will never return.
