I have visited Allen Hospital's ER department twice in the last two years. I was treated with care and respect by all personnel. The physician on duty was the same, and the care was conservative but by no means inappropriate. Yes, I wished he could have cured me, but my ailments were not life threatening. The Department provided essential immediate care and referred me to my personal physicians.

Most of the time its nothing but good things.. my mom came in cause she fell and hurt her shoulder.. the nurses tonight have acted kinda like snooty.. doctor was awesome!

I just want to say i had really good experience and as many people want to say the ER is bad they are wrong. I went with and abscess on my chin and all the doctor did was come in and told me i had a bad tooth. Sent me home with pain meds and referred me to see the dentist and you know what he was really right. I want to say thank you so much for the wonderful service. I see alot of people going to the ER for no reason at all and want to get prescribed medication without having nothing. Believe me doctors know when something is wrong when they first walk in to your room. REMIND you this it is an emergency room thats what the are going to do find a temporary solution and make you follow up. If your illness is really serious you would take steps to feel better from the ER.

This hospital is a best kept secret! All private beds, lovely facility, extremely clean. The patient experience scores are wonderful! When you go to the ER, the docs and nurses are so nice and there is little or no wait time to get in!!

If I could give this hospital zero stars I would. Someone I know went to this hospital the other day because of a boil/abscess on there knee/shin that has gotten infected. First thing the doctor said is "did you shoot up right there". First of all they have a list of the medications the person in question is on and can see that this person has been in a program for 6/7 years. The doctor wouldn't even let them speak. After the doctor made this person feel like they was a no good person and that they didn't deserve treatment he just gave them prescriptions and sent them out the door. He didn't blood work that should have been done. He did a culture but of a burn that has been healed for a while. I personally will not go to this hospital ever again if I can help it.
