My wife recently suffered a TIA (mini-stroke) and our PCP referred us to the ER. We chose Monmouth Medical Center South Campus, partly because it's close to our home, but also because her previous treatment in the radiology center (mammogram) had been so positive. From the moment we entered the ER door, she was treated with the utmost care, from the volunteer greeter at the door, to the young gentleman who wheeled her out to the car the next evening. Every member of the staff was very responsive and forthcoming with her medical information. She was seen and treated in a prompt manner. The ER staff, radiology techs, nursing staff, phyisicans, and nurse practitioners were kind and helpful. Even the food staff and custodial staff were friendly. The care rendered to my wife was top-notch and we wouldn't hesitate to return, if medical care was needed. (Even the food is good!) Thank you to everyone at Monmouth Medical Center South Campus!

Went to ER with Mom having 240/110 blood pressure, they gave her some medicine to drop the pressure, that didn't work, so they gave her something stronger, the. nurses words were "that should have taken it down" but didn't, they released her and she died 4 days later of stroke. My question is why would you let a patient leave with that high of blood pressure, they prescribed blood thinner pills on the way out,, and said call your regular doctor. well she couldn't get in till Tuesday, but she had stroke before she got there. You are full of malpractice!! Don't take anyone you care about here!
Why did you let her leave??????????????
If an individual is admitted, with the right to be a medical examiners case; sustain what appears to be an injury from unknown origin. Surprise, no eeg will be conducted , you ask for documentation that is questionable to receive. When you expire , the deceased is in luck if they make it to the Medical Examiner. How can a person be deemed natural death when admitted from their place of employment, into this hell hole, because it was said by her employer the deceased, fell. This place is hell, staff compassionate care or concern. Prime promotion is “pull the plug”
God above isn’t sleeping, many have their day of reckoning on judgement day.
RIP to all who have expired, you are in a better place. If only investigations would be conducted. If only protocols are followed person appeared to have fallen and dies, they are a Medical Examiners case, to determine cause of death. Not decide it is ok to say natural causes.
Satan’s sanctuary this place is
All the nurses that I've dealt with were extraordinary considerate to me. Treated me like family. Nurses are the glue of any foundation I have had experience with. No I am not a nurse. You are treated as you treat others. I just have to assume that the people that have complained probably have terrible attitudes. I understand that if you are dealing in this kind of situation. More then likely you're not in a good mood in general. Just remember they (the staff) are there to help you.
Horrible, horrible hospital. Doctor wasnt even advised of husband being admitted for 3 DAYS!! They called him after I made a stink. I cannot call this place Monmouth Medical because it is NOTHING like Monmouth Medical.
