About Parkland Health & Hospital System

Parkland Health & Hospital System first opened its doors in 1894 and is now one of the largest public hospital systems in the country. The hospital averages more than 1 million patient visits annually. Services include a Level I Trauma Center, the second-largest civilian burn center in the U.S., and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The system also includes 20 community-based clinics, including primary care and women’s clinics, 12 school-based clinics, and numerous outreach and education programs. Parkland is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Would never consider coming here ever and dr. Osama took an hour to walk in the room and n9 instructions whats next and elongating things for no reason, if anyone ever whats to get anything done, please pick a different hospital

I worked here for 13 years as an RN, incredible staff members, and incredible work loads, lol. This is the place to be if you have bad trauma, I was taken to the ER as a patient after a motorcycle wreck, I couldn't have asked for better care.

The new hospital is an amazing architectural sight for the Dallas area. Emergency room waiting time is quick, lots more parking than the old hospital. It's also located right off the orange and green line, I suggest this mode of transportation to get thrre
