Radiology bills you then they have a independent contractor who bills you second without disclosing information. So now I have an additional medical bill I didnt even know to expect from some place called Saint Paul Radiology out of PA. And now I owe $$$ to this place for having a radiologist READ my ultrasounds on top of my $900 bill for a 20 minute 8 weel ultrasound visit.
Every time we have gone to the ER, we have been treated quickly and with respect. The Drs. and nurses are amazing!
My mother will be 84 years old this Sunday and most of her life it has been one thing after another to cause her to have depression, anxiety and paranoia most of her life. We had her sent to the the Grace Unit at Regina Hospital in Hastings, MN. She was there for two weeks and going through the process tough for our family. But on the day she got out she was such a changed person, that I felt like this is truly her real personality. She used to cry and be frustrated and angry so often, there was hardly a day she wasn't upset especially as she grew older. She is so happy now and so funny to be with her personality just shines. I am so grateful for the Grace Unit helping my mom. I just could go back down there and give them all a hug, because its a beautiful thing they did for my mom. I will be forever grateful to the help they've for my mom. She is a new person. We were also able to get her out just in time to celebrate her birthday with the whole family. And it will be wonderful for her to see family members she hasn't seen in a long time and for everyone to see the big smile on her face. If ever anybody has an elderly family member who needs help with mental health issues, I highly recommend The Grace Unit at Regina's. You won't regret it!
I would suggest going here only if it is the closest hospital and then transfer once you can do so. The nurses are very rude. They seem to forget stuff. The place was completely empty and I was put in the smallest room without a recliner. My fiancee asked for a recliner so she could stay the night. The nurse responded with "he's a big boy" and "he's in a hospital he will be fine". They also have a policy that NO one can stay the night with a patient because "there was issues in the past with visitors and medication". I requested to transfer and the nurse came in the room and started arguing with my fiancee in front of me and family. My fiancee asked her not to do this infront of me and the nurse said no! The nurse thought we were offended because she said I was a big boy and I took that as me being fat. No we understood what she meant she just didn't see how it was rude. Never heard of a hospital not allowing visitors to stay thenight. Thank God I got out of there and stayed at a nicer hospital with a real staff that was polite and fun. I will only go back to this hospital if I'm dying.
I came to this Hospital tonight in EXCRUCIATING pain, BUT I did NOT ask for or seek pain meds. I already have pain meds! I just wanted an MRI, ultrasound, or CT Scan. So I can find the cause of this "new pain." Instead I was ridiculed and judged for being on pain meds and told I needed to be off of them. This is a HUGE problem in the Allina system. You don't know me, I'm not your patient, I'm here in the ER to be accessed and treated for this ACUTE issue. Your not seeing me ongoing. Focus on todays problem! Instead I got cut off when trying to explain my problem and rerouted to why I was on pain meds and my plan to get off. Frequently told to get off of pain meds. I wasn't even sent home with a prescription for the anti inflammatory or muscle relaxer that the provider said they would give. Definitely won't be coming back! Its disturbing that my insurance will even pay for this visit.
