Shawn Johnson Midwife is a beautiful soul who goes out of her way to make her clients feel welcomed and loved.. She is compassionate about her work and made me feel comfortable to ask anything or say whatever was on my mind as I was seeking guidance. She is the most trustworthy health provider I have ever met and would have her over and over again as my Midwife!! I absolutely adore her and wish her the best success and joy I love because she made me feel safe and comfortable and at ease every step of my pregnancy and delivery!

We are very grateful for the care we received during and after the birth of our daughter. Dr. Baudoin for prenatal care was always thorough, kind, and patient- allowing our son to partake in checking fetal heart tones at appointments making the transition to two more understandable for him. We were bummed she didn’t end up delivering since she wasn’t on-call when my wife into labor, but we’re so appreciative of Dr. Ou-Yang’s excellent care during delivery. Not to mention the outstanding nursing staff (Niki, Kim, Jean, Tracy to name a few.) Dr. Mohling on the pediatric side also wonderful to see rounding while we were there who has taken wonderful care of our firstborn as well. Lastly, the lactation consultant team is second to none. Julie is an incredible asset to the organization - patient, knowledgeable, and very thorough. The floor was hopping with multiple births yet she made us feel we were her only patients and put my wife very much at ease- she even grabbed a burp cloth to wipe my wife’s tears after having some post-delivery pain. If planning to breastfeed, would highly recommend utilizing this team as an excellent resource. Again we are very grateful for the support and care received by all team members during our stay!

A few problems when I visited the ER tonight. I should not be able to hear them discussing other patients names, dates of birth and ailments. I should not know about so and so's UTI. They need to seriously rethink how they communicate to respect patients HIPPA rights. My doctor was very curt. Did not check in. Was downright rude with me for coming to Waconia and not sticking with the random doctor they chose for me in Glencoe. My symptoms can be unbearable and my new primary doc is downright baffled so I was hoping for maybe a different opinion and set of eyes for some very serious and painful health issues. I was told Waconia was a great hospital and then was told by the doctor basically not to come there lol... All I want is relief and answers not to be treated like garbage and have my personal info loudly announced by hospital staff for all the world to hear.

I was hesitant to come in because I had a lapse in my insurance that I was still working out, but I was encouraged to come in to the ER. I ended up being admitted and the hospital staff helped fix my insurance while I was there, which was a huge stress reliever. Unfortunately I have had several hospital experiences and this was by the far the most well maintained and serviced hospital. The food wasn't even that bad! LOL

Single mother of 3 year old twins and we have visited the emergency room a couple of times the last few years. One time because of a febrile seizure. (Scariest moment of my life.) The paramedics, nurses, and whole staff were great. They kept me calm and also kept entertainment for the twin that wasn’t sick. They showed that they cared and made sure I felt comfortable going home before we did.
