feedback about River Park Hospital
The ER is great if u get the right doctor. The wait is long. As for being admitted, you better run. The nurses on day shift are great... night shift nurses are the bottom of the barrel! The night shift nurses are under educated and very uncaring. They can't even take blood without repeatedly sticking and digging around in the vein. They let my BP go up to 232/103 and walked out of the room not saying a word or meds to get if down. I had to threaten walking before they got the doctor from ER to treat me. My daughter spent 2 nights w me afraid to leave the 4 night stay. The only reason I didn't leave the first night was I was afraid my ins. wouldn't pay. Now I know they would.
Everybody is nice but that place milks the insurance company. They order tests that they don't have equipment for. At least that's what they say. Said my brother in law needed a test on his heart but they sent him to mufreesboro. Riverpark is part of St Thomas heart group. They can't run a test on his heart in Warren Co?
This is not really a review I have never been there. I am trying to find reviews on the Cardiopulmonary Rehab at Saint Thomas River Park and all I can find is reviews for the hospital as a whole. My Father has recently had a minor stroke and is currently at the St. Thomas hospital in Nashville. He will be transferred to the St. Thomas River Park Cardiopulmonary Rehab since my folks are from Rock Island, Tn. It would be nice if there was a separate review board for the Rehab program so family members can get a better idea of where their loved ones are going. Crossing my fingers that this is a great cardio rehab.
I WANT TO KNOW WHY MY GRANDMOTHER WAS SENT HOME KNOWING SHE HAS C-DIFF! SHE IS IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN SENT HOME. DISCHARGED ON 11/27 @ MCMINVILLE.
Ive had good experiences here. Birth of my first born went flawless and my second will be born there tomorrow if all goes well. I had to go in over kidney stones once and they were polite and helpful. These are my personal experiences and know many people who have not had good experiences there. Birth center is worth going to and smaller non life threatening issues are handled well but more critical situations should be handled by a better hospital
