Took my mother to the ER Friday night because she was feeling confused and disoriented, they saw her in triage for a few minutes and sent her to the waiting room, spent almost 3 hours there without seeing anyone else and not being taken back. When asked if she was going to be able to see someone they said all the beds were full and there was nothing they could do sit down and wait. We left and went to another hospital where it seemed they cared for the patients. I would not send my worst enemy to this place that has the audacity to say they are a care facility.

Our birthing experience at this hospital was more than I even hoped for. The nurses and staff, the lovely woman who brought us food every day, were all the most wonderful people I've ever met! I was a previous c-section survivor with my firstborn in another state at a different hospital, and really wanted to try giving birth regularly for the sake of taking care of my family with the least amount of recovery time. I went in at 2am with painful, regular contractions and by almost 10pm, my daughter was born without surgery thanks to the miracle working team of nurses and doctors! Now after two weeks, I am nearly fully able to do everything I was capable of before I got pregnant and I do not have to take any pain killers! It was honestly one of the most exciting and satisfying experiences of my life. I was listened to and taken care of and if I could somehow adequately express the impact of their kindness, and my gratitude for all that they've done for not just me and the baby, but my family too, I would write it in the sky for everyone to see. Thank you, for allowing me the freedom to choose how to deliver and recover. What a truly amazing hospital!

Everyone was wonderful to my daughter with the exception of one person in the cafeteria. Her name was Denise and she worked in the salad bar. We asked for some more salad dressing that was empty and she told us to get one out of the cooler. We also asked about boiled eggs. She was totally rude to us and it was evident she did not want to help us or anyone else there. My daughter was gravely sick and I did not appreciate her or I being treated like this. We ate in the cafeteria all week. You have a wonderful caring hospital, I just hate for one totally unhappy person to ruin everyone' s experience.

If I could give no stars I could. Doctors and nurses are rude and lazy. While my family member was in the ER suffering, the nurses were in the corridor eating lunch. You could never get a doctor to come into the room as it was too inconvenient for them to get off from their phones to care for the patients. If you can avoid this "horsepital" do so.

Why is it that the ER at this hospital is absolutely at the least guilty of patient neglect and no one does anything about it. There are people waiting in the waiting room with broken bones exposed, screaming in pain. I have been a nurse 30 years and have never seen such neglect. I had a family member who waited so long that by the time we got them to Corbin they were rushed into surgery with ruptured appendix. Complaints are made and nothing is done. You are kept long enough to make sure doctors can bill on the hours. This is do wrong on so msn levels. Patents waiting to be seen while the doctor sets at the desk talking about his guns. How to you spell MALPRACTICE.
