I live in california, my son is missing and not in his right mind. He called me from this hospital this morning at 530am. I didn't get the message right away but called back 2 hours later and no one would tell me anything!! I'm his mother, he called from there!! Really wow! The most rude unhelpful people I ever dealt with! Don't count on this hospital for anything!!
SRHC's inability to diagnose my dad's leukemia (even though they took lots of blood tests while he was there for an A-Fib problem, and he obviously wasn't getting better after several days in the hospital), resulted in us having an entire month less time to treat it. He passed away 1 week after being diagnosed at Mayo Clinic (within a day of arrival). If he had started treatment right away, he would have had a lot better chance to survive.
To give them credit, they did a good job on a couple different occasions dealing with his A-Fib problem. He went to the ER or called an ambulance 3 times and they were able to stabilize him each time.
I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. This is a great hospital. I had 2 of my kids here & didn't have any problems. The food was delicious. Staff are friendly.
I was there for just under 72 hours. I only saw my attending doctor once for like 3 minutes. When first showed my discharge paperwork they listed the wrong meds. Ones I hadn't taken there or was even talked to about. They checked and corrected the paperwork. But they called the wrong meds into the pharmacy. I saw my own doctor 2 days later who didn't have anything from the hospital but she got my meds straightened out. Wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone.
Had a sprained finger. They charged me over $200 and gave me a splint. Doctor was rude. He made a lame joke then said "Good talk" and walked away fast. Complete waste of time and money.
