South Central Ks Med Center

I recently had a baby at SCKMC. The doctors, nurses, and other staff made our experience wonderful. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful and made sure baby and I were well taken care of. Thank you, SCKMC!

I just want to say that Mr. Bowman is the greatest asset to the hospital. He walks around and takes the time to know and talk to the patients and goes above and beyond..in all my years I have never seen a CEO as dedicated as this man. I hope he is around for a very long time in arkcity hospital.

My mom was a patient here for 5 days. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Was the best hospital experience she ever had.

After a nasty fall with likely broken ribs, my doctor ordered a CT scan. SCKMC got me scheduled for the next day. They wanted me there a half hour early. I got there an hour early, was through admissions in five minutes and seated in the waiting room. Thinking it would be a long wait, I found a comfortable chair. Two minutes later, they called my name. A couple of nurses escorted me to the CT room and the process took just minutes. The gals were professional and caring. When I got home, I looked at my watch and it was 15 minutes BEFORE my scheduled appointment time. Can your hospital do that?

I have only been there to give birth, so I can't speak for the rest of the hospital, but the maternity ward is wonderful! The birthing rooms are large, clean, and private. It is very modern while still being soothing. Both of my birthing experiences here were wonderful. Edit: I've now had to take one child to the emergency room here, and it was a good experience. Because it is a small hospital the emergency room was not crowded at all and we were seen very quickly. All of the staff were very helpful and they did a great job of soothing my sick 4-year-old. They were quick to consult with both our primary care physician and experts at Wesley to provide the best care possible for my child. After we were discharged they called to follow up the next day and make sure my child was recovering. Excellent, caring service.
