feedback about South Peninsula Hospital
I am from Kansas and I have stage 4 renal cell carcinoma. I am in Homer for the summer and have to have blood work done every month. The women in the lab are wonderful and professional. They are very good at there job. They always treat me with care and respect. Thank you ladies.
Literally hell on earth, you definitely get the sense that patient care and experience is not the number one priority. Also very understaffed, probably because other people keep getting people fired. The environment is overly stressful, not a good place to work or receive care. If I could give a zero I would.
First, let me disclose that I am an employee at SPH. Now let me tell you that I only stick my neck out of it’s true. I had the best experience one could have in their emergency room today. I have witnessed many people receive the same level of care, but this time it was all for me! Everyone genuinely cares and the staff was so personable. I was scared, in pain, crying, and not the most fun patient and I left there feeling so much better. If you have to go to an ER, this one is top notch!
Good Hospital, great location, great staff, and great care. I think many need to drive down to SPH to understand what good care really looks like. Soldotna could learn a thing or two about service done right.
The staff here is amazing. It actually feels like a hospital is supposed to. They actually want to help you.
