5 stars for the nurses and doctors... especially those in the childbirth center. They are wonderful, compassionate people doing great work. Reception is hit or miss. Billing department is awful to deal with, rude and poorly trained. The building itself is clean and easy to navigate.
I fell on the ice in Feb. and broke a bone near my wrist. When we got to the ER I was pleasantly surprised. They had masks to protect you from flu available, and the woman who gave me the paperwork was thoughtful and kind. Next, another young woman took my stats and was also smart and pleasant. Everyone who treated me, from X-ray tecs to doctors had the same good attitude and professionalism. I recommend the Springfield Hospital to anyone with an emergency.
Had mammography done the end of March, it's now mid-April and Radiology states they aren't going to release the findings until they received a prior mammography. Yet it was sent to them TWICE at their request, and still it isn't released. Plus not one phone call to me, whatsoever, from Radiology regarding the status.
This is unacceptable, am hoping there isn't anything I should be concerned about with the mammography. Go elsewhere for a mammography.
