Do no go here! This place is full of doctors who lie to their clients to steal from them. They start patients with unnecessary meds then charge then, after that they tell you if you wanna get better you need to take blood exams, CT scan, x-ray etc.. etc.. to continue making you pay. This place should not be a hospital or most of it's staff should be replaced.

I was admitted to the hospital. One doctor was working 28 patients on my floor. The doctor had a nervous breakdown in the middle of his shift and disappeared. I was overmedicated and fell head first on to the floor. The doctor from er had to examine me and evaluate my injuries and I was left with a black eye and head wound.

It was determined that I needed a pikk line a day or so after my fall. The technician had trouble inserting this line.

I was told by a nurse that I could check myself out of the hospital after I expressed my concern over proper care. The nurse agreed with my assessment of care and helped me check myself out.

Upon my request to cease care from the facility and check myself out the pikk was removed. The nurse noted there was dried blood on the line and expressed concern.

I checked myself into another hospital where it was determined I had a seven inch blood clot in the arm that the pikk line was in. I had thoracic outlet syndrome with a large blood clot.

I made the correct decision to leave St Catherines and seek treatment elsewhere.

Doctors have NO bedside manner. SOME nurses do their best. It is a business and always comes down to the almighty dollar, no patient care! Their medicine is BEHIND the times about 10 years!!! Only go here if you cant make it to Amarillo, Oklahoma or Wichita.

Took my dad in on a Sunday evening for abdominal pain, noticed his leg was getting red, swollen, and hot. He was admitted to the hospital for observation, never could get a definite answer on what was wrong. Day three in hospital his leg was really red and swollen and was not getting better with antibiotics. It’s very upsetting that you go to the hospital to get well and not worse, and have to go to another hospital to see if they can figure out what is wrong. Not sure how this hospital has a state of the art title when it’s by far that. The hospital needs to get more doctors to attend to patients. We only seen the doctor in the room once the whole time we were there.
My dad stayed there two days before he got in for ultrasound.

His bedding never got changed, the room never got cleaned, he never got a shower or clean gowns.
Not very impressed and will just risk the drive to lakin where the level of care is by far the best!

Doctors are horrible. What should have been a simple procedure, turned into a hellish experience. Husband had a very small piece of metal in his hand the size of 4 mm. he was worried the metal would travel and cause damage so we scheduled the surgery to have it removed. After waiting quite a while we got an earful from the nursing staff how he is chronically late and they have complained. Literally 2 hours later Plomeritis strolled in said he had car trouble. he walked in with the marker felt around for the metal and marked where to make the incision. the staff reccomended taking an xray immediately prior to the incision but this quack didn’t and made the incision before taking the xray. He had trouble finding the metal so he made made a large incision, think 3 inches for a mm size object. they recommended he not lift over 5 pounds for a month. After the surgery Plomeritus thought to tell us that it probably would have “walled itself off” which he never stated in the first place. Had we know that it wasn’t dangerous wouldn’t have had the surgery. Just got the rest of bill today $1,608, after we already paid about $600. with bcbsks insurance. I am amazed he still has a license.
