This is my first ever bad experience at this facility. I was born here, multiple surgeries and had my children here. Having dinner, discussing EMS and patients on the way was more important than the patients there. I left with a blood pressure of 190/95 and a script.
$13,457 facility fee for routine colonoscopy. Other visits $3000-5200 facility fees for thyroid and pelvic ultra sounds. These should all be well under $1000. My insurance cost checker quoted me 390 but it turns out that was for the doctor only which is a separate bill, and received two other separate bills about 750 each for anesthetist and another unknown doctor, Never again. Stay clear of this place. A friend got one done a month ago in South Carolina and was charged $1300 for the facility $350 for the anesthesiologist and the doctor was $780. 13,000 vs 1,300?
ER visit. Fast check in, fast checkup and through visit. Nurses and PA's were wonderful.
My brother took my dad there because we thought he was having a stroke. This is an 85 year old man! They waited for four hours and weren't seen so he took my dad home. Found out shortly after that docs think he had mini strokes. A few months later he had two major strokes and died. Perhaps if they had treated him quickly in the er things could have gone differently.
I would like to add something to this review. I see the other people who wrote comments for a response from the hospital. I got nothing.
We ended up in the ER while visiting from out of town, and we are very grateful for the excellent care and compassion our daughter received while at St. Luke’s Hopsital. The nurse, Jen M. And Dr. Donaldson were fantastic and went above and beyond to care for our daughter. Thank you!
