My experience with the Stoughton Hospital Urgent care has been hit or miss to put it lightly. I’ve been three times over the past 2 years. The most recent time I had the privilege of having Peter Stier MD as my doctor. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. He actually cared about getting down to the bottom of what was going on with me. Unfortunately his shift was ending and he had to hand me over to Dr. Tripp. I had him last year at a different visit. This guy is the most worthless careless and rude medical professional I have ever met. He has no clue..about anything. As soon as I realized that was who was taking over for Dr Stier I honestly wanted to get up and leave. With that said Dr Stier and the rest of the nurses were amazing! The 3 stars are all them.. Tripp gets no stars. He should not be working in the medical field.

Excellent resource for Stoughton and surrounding areas. I have been both an outpatient and inpatient, receiving excellent care in every situation. My only suggestion is I wish they offered Pulmonary Rehab in Stoughton. Currently only cardiac rehab is offered at Stoughton. For pulmonary rehab I have to go to Madison or Janesville. Not a huge inconvenience but either way it’s a hour long commute for a 1 hour session, most patients go twice a week for 25+ sessions.

I am always pleased with the caring and understanding that I receive every time I go there. Whether it emergency or for testing, their concern is always visible. Compared to St. Mary's in Madison.

Best hospital I've ever been in. Had routine knee replacement surgery, then had some A-Fib problems, and the nurses were right on it and got me the proper care immediately. Food was above, way above average. Had a great stay, nurses top notch, and saw Drs. everyday. I'll travel 300 miles again to use this hospital.
