Thomas Memorial Hospital

I was transported to the emergency room during the night several weeks ago and then admitted for four days. I received NOTHING but stellar treatment. The nursing staff was extremely kind and willing to assist me without hesitation. The doctors were compassionate and understanding due to my confusion as to what caused my medical emergency. It is not possible for me to have received better care. In fact, I had one night male nurse that remained with me during a most trying time. In fact, I believe if I could have turned my head quickly enough, I'd swear I would have seen angel wings. I'm truly sorry that some people might not agree regarding the care they received there, but I'm not one of them. I would definitely give this hospital the highest score possible for care, compassion, and knowledge. Thank you!

Do not know which doctors or hospital everyone visited, but have to say that Thomas Memorial is top notch. The night team gotten me right in and treated me very well. Really appreciate the doctors, nurses, and staff and the medical service that I received.

UNCARING....NON HELPFUL....MOST RUDEST EMPLOYEES AND DRS EVER!! IF ANYONE HAS A DEATH WISH THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD GO....I WAS IN THE ER COUPLE NIGHTS AGO AND IT STARTED OUT GOOD. THE DR CAME IN AND ASKED THE PROBLEM. [ I HAD BEEN FLIPPED UPSIDE DOWN ON MY HEAD. HAD HEAD INJURY ] THEY DID A CT SCAN AFTER 2 HOURS, 4 HOURS LATER A URINE TEST, THEN FORGOT ME. 2 HOURS LATER I HAD ASK NURSE TWICE HOW MUCH LONGER. THE DR. NEVER APPEARED AGAIN AFTER INITIAL VISIT. THE NURSE CAME WITH DISCHARGE PAPERS WITH NO ONE TELLING ME ANY RESULTS ....NOTHING !!! I WAS SO UPSET I WILL NEVER GO TO THOMAS ER AGAIN MY BLOOD PRESSURE WAS STROKE LEVEL THE WHOLE TIME I WAS THERE AND SAID AND DID NOTHING!! 182/116...

I have seen both stellar care and absolute disregard for humanity here. I was sent here by an urgent care because they thought i had sepsis after my surgery. In triage before i had even walked through the door the nurse hatefully said it was going to be a long time. I asked if the urgent care had called ahead and she literally laughed at me and said it didnt matter and i would be waiting 6 hours just to get bloodwork for sepsis. Another woman who said she was told it was going to be six hours wait was there for a miscarriage and had to sit and wait while possibly miscarrying sitting on the floor, I went there multiple times for severe stomach pain to be told we dont know what it is and we are not going to try to figure it out go home for it to be acute appendicitis that was found by someone else. I honestly do not feel safe putting my life in this hospitals hands. I have also had another occurance where a doctor refused to examine me and then put. Me on a steroid dose unsafe for diabetes which i repeatedly told them about that had long term damage to my blood sugar. By the way i had a severe respiratory infection. He just wouldnt listen to me when i told him. It took my primary care doctor to give me the antibiotics I had to have. I have formally requested my doctor never send me to this hospitals er. Its sad bc they have some amazing doctors there but the er is awful.

Honestly one star is too much was . No one on their staff knew what was going on. Even dr at hospital did nothing!!! Seen me in pain let me lay there for 8 hours. This hospital is worst one I have ever been to. No discharge papers since no one could tell me what they were doing. Pathetic hospital!!
