This hospital has saved my life. I have had treatments for serious conditions. The emergency room waiting time is quick. Often times I can get right in. Once your in the ER there is waiting times for them to do the full work up. Then when your admitted I have received outstanding care. The surgeons have been exemplary. Being sick is not easy. I see others have posted negative reviews. I get the feeling the doctors and nurses actually do care. I look at them with gratitude .They did save my life These reviews are often about our own attitude. Lets be more grateful for the care we receive. We have a great hospital. It is local. The facilities are new. The rooms are beautiful . The upstairs rooms are private and quiet. Cheer up its not all bad. Being sick is what skews our judgements

My mother was treated in the ER last week. She was subsequently admitted and stayed in the hospital for a few days. The wait in the ER was too long. She arrived at 8:00 and wasn’t given a room until 2:00 am. She was admitted under observation, instead of the standard admission. We asked for an explanation and did not receive an adequate one. The physical therapy she was supposed to receive, was terrible. One therapist told her to get out of bed and sit in a chair for one hour...that was supposedly therapy. The nurses refused to provide us with the information we requested, including the name of someone whom we could call to ask about her admission. She only saw the orthopedist once during the three days she was at the hospital. The experience was very disappointing and we were very dissatisfied.

The Drs are different as in truly involved in your well being not just saying you got 20 min to tell me about one problem they are interested in your complete care .I'm going in for back surgery on the 20th of September I'll update further after that

Financially, they just lie to you! so be careful! They say they have Doctors in ER. for the period of 3-4 hours that I was there I only saw a Physician Assistant yet in the bill there was doctor visit charges! I don't know how cheap a hospital can be to charge me over $3.00 per pages if I need my full ER report for my insurance! obviously they cannot release a PDF version and it costs the Hospital over $3.00 per page to release the information while they have already charged you an arm and a leg for the ER visit! My suggestion is: Just Don't go to the University Hospitals. Go to a caring Hospital not the one who asks for your insurance info before admitting you!

One word: GHETTO. Never will I return. Sat and waited for 3 hours only to be told they lost my lab work. HELL NO.
