I really hate this hospital. This should be actually a big fat zero. They are the most inconsiderate, stupid people I have ever met. We actually lost someone in the system who was trying to hurt himself, He is deaf and did not get any direction or understand that it was important to have individuals listed to have the information about who he wanted to have on his care information. whether it be able to be given to family members or friends. nor did they ask who he wanted to be informed for medical treatment. (family , friends,) stupid case worker didn't follow through with these questions and now we have no idea where he is. Normally these procedures are in place when you go to the hospital. But not here, bunch of idiots. And you can't find out, because of the total lack of professionalism on the staffs part. I am actually going to go the police station in the morning to find out what can be done about his issue. This is a dangerous place.

Had the worst experience at the ER because of the staff. First of all I showed up around 3-4 AM and was the only one, they took forever to come get me even though I was on the floor in and out of consciousness because of the pain. When they finally did get me the nurses were awful and rude. I ended up having surgery because my intestines were twisted so I was definitely in some real pain. They took forever to bring me pain meds as I was laying on the bed crying asking for them. They were in no rush and acted like I was a huge inconvenience. After I got pain meds I was still in terrible pain so one of the RNs accused me of being a heroin addict which I am not. I was in the worst pain of my life, I’ve never been a drug addict. If I had to rate the in patient part of the hospital where I stayed for about 5 days I would give them 10 stars. Everyone who worked up there from the cleaning crew to the doctors were kind and nurturing just as health care professionals should be. Unfortunately they just have terrible RNs in the ER who should not even be allowed to work with patients.

I was recently hospitalized at st. John's pleasant valley hospital and I have to say this is by far the best hospital I've ever been to. The staff is beyond incredible. It felt as if I were being taken care of by my family verses total strangers. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of care. They were so thorough and completely knowledgeable in the care they provided to me, So much so I really hope I get called for a survey. I went in though the emergency room which I can not say enough good things about the staff. I was in so much pain I didn't get anyone's name but it as the night shift on Tuesday night early Wednesday morning. Phenomenal is the first word that comes to mind. once I was admitted I was on the second floor were nurse's Mimi, Bell, and another young lady who took incredible care of me. With my whole heart I would like to thank everyone for all the love and care they put into their job. Making it feel more to me as if it's their extremely pleasurable hobby verse their job. These amazing people have certainly chosen the right career. Thank you so much for getting me back to health! love TMoore room 208.
