EHRMagic Inc was an electronic health record software vendor based in Santa Fe Springs, California, that developed both ambulatory and inpatient EHR systems for physician practices and healthcare facilities. The company positioned itself as providing software solutions for private physician practices with a focus on ease of use and practice profitability. EHRMagic offered cloud-based deployment with integrated practice management capabilities, clinical documentation, e-prescribing, lab integration, and patient scheduling features designed to streamline workflows for outpatient settings including multi-provider groups and specialty practices. However, in April 2013, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) revoked the certification for both EHRMagic-Ambulatory and EHRMagic-Inpatient products after the systems failed re-testing for required functionality under the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs.
